Welcome

My name is Elise Daniel and I am a long-time writer and mom and mom of three, soon to be four children. Although I’ve spent most of my career writing (and ghostwriting) about topics spanning theology and politics, my children inspired me to dive into fiction. Their love for celebrating holidays sparked an idea to write playful and heartwarming holiday-themed children’s stories that bridge the secular-sacred divide.

I published my first children’s book titled The Richest Leprechaun in Ireland in 2024 and am (slowly) working on a few more stories. In the meantime, I share my favorite picture book recommendations here on my blog. I hope you’ll subscribe and join me in my love of great children’s literature.
